How to get from Landvetter airport to the city

It is easy to go by bus from Landvetter airport to Gothenburg. The Airport Coaches depart every twenty minutes, and you will arrive at Korsvägen/Svenska mäsan in about 20 minutes and at the Central station in about 30 minutes.

For information about how to buy tickets, please visit: http://www.flygbussarna.se/en/landvetter

Taxi

If you prefer to go by taxi, it will cost you about 300–400 SEK to get from the airport to the centre of Gothenburg.

How to buy public transport tickets

Unfortunately, you cannot buy public transport tickets from the driver. On trams, you can buy tickets from vending machines using coins or credit card, but this is not possible on the busses. We therefore recommend you to buy your ticket prior to boarding the vehicle.

Most of you will live in the central parts of Gothenburg, not far from the conference venue, and will therefore only have to go by public transport one or two times during your stay. The best way for you to buy a ticket is to go to a “Pressbyrån” store (can be found both at Korsvägen, and at the Central station) and buy a one way ticket (enkelbiljett) at a cost of 24 SEK. The ticket is valid for 90 minutes. Please note that the Airport bus ticket is not valid in Gothenburg public transport.
